Sizzling, thick and juicy, Chicago steak is famed the world over. But who needs the crowds of dining out when you can prepare an iconic steakhouse dinner at home? Learn how to prepare these steakhouse classics at home!
Wedge Salad with Bacon and Blue Cheese Dressing; Sautéed Strip Steaks with Herb Compound Butter; Roasted Asparagus; Twice-Baked Potatoes; Strawberry-Rhubarb Crisp with Vanilla Ice Cream.
Skills Covered in Class Include: Making Dressings; Balancing Flavors; Selecting Steaks; Determining Meat Doneness; Making Compound Butter; Roasting Green Vegetables; Baking and Filling Potatoes; Working with Fresh Herbs; Making Fruit Fillings and Streusel Toppings.
When signing up, you'll have the opportunity to pre-order a bottle of our Ancient Oak Cellars, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, California. Plush and concentrated flavors of extra-ripe plum with a long, smooth finish. You'll also have the option to peruse our extensive wine list upon arrival.
Due to the layout of our kitchens and in consideration of your classmates, students will work in groups of 3 to 5 people. Parties of 6 or more will be directed to our private events department so we can accommodate them appropriately. All participants in class must be at least 18 years old, or 21 years old if pre-purchasing an adult beverage.
