What could be better cooking up some great food with Dad on Father's Day? Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to help their families prepare a fabulous feast that Dad will love.
Prosciutto-Wrapped Grilled Shrimp; Sweet and Spicy Barbecued Chicken; Grilled Corn on the Cob; New Potato Salad with Crispy Bacon; Wood-Fired Fruit Cobbler.
Skills Covered in Class Include: How to Set up Your Grill; Selecting and Grilling Shrimp; Understanding Barbecuing vs. Grilling; Determining Meat Doneness; Selecting Potatoes; Preparing Spice Rubs; Using Smoking Chips; Fruit Fillings; Making Biscuits.
Grilling classes take place outdoors on our patio and are therefore subject to weather cancellation. In the event of a cancellation, all participants will be contacted by phone and email no later than 10am (for lunch-time classes) and 2pm (for evening classes) on the day of class. Due to the layout of our kitchens and in consideration of your classmates, students will work in groups of 3 to 5 people. Parties of 6 or more will be directed to our private events department so we can accommodate them appropriately.
