Take the chill out of the air with these hearty, soul-satisfying recipes featuring comforting recipes from around the world.
Minestrone with Farro, Chickpeas and Kale; Cassoulet (White Bean, Turkey Sausage and Chicken Stew); Tuscan Beef Ragout with Red Wine, Tomatoes and Rosemary; Tom Kha Gai (Spicy Shrimp, Coconut Milk and Lemongrass Soup).
Skills Covered in Class Include: Working with Grains, Dried Beans, Dark Leafy Greens and Fresh Herbs; Selecting Sausage, Chicken, Shrimp and Beef; Braising Poultry and Beef; Determining Meat Doneness; Getting Familiar with Thai Ingredients; Balancing Flavors.
During class students will sample all the dishes prepared by the chef.
