There's good reason why Spain is such a culinary hot spot. Come experience the bold and zesty flavors of this country, and discover what the buzz is all about. ¡Ole!
Arugula Salad with Oranges, Chorizo "Croutons" and Shaved Manchego Cheese; Sautéed Strip Steaks with Romesco Compound Butter; Seafood Paella with Shrimp and Mussels; Flan (Caramel Custard).
Skills Covered in Class Include: Getting Familiar with Spanish Ingredients; Segmenting Citrus; Preparing Vinaigrette and Compound Butter; Balancing Flavors; Selecting Beef and Shellfish; Determining Meat and Shellfish Doneness; Working with Arborio Rice; Caramelizing Sugar; Making and Baking Custard.
Due to the layout of our kitchens and in consideration of your classmates, students will work in groups of 3 to 5 people. Parties of 6 or more will be directed to our private events department so we can accommodate them appropriately.
