Do you love to shop at your local farmers' market, but are puzzled as to what to do with the selection of produce that's available? We will teach you how to expertly prepare an amazing meal that's in tune with the season.
Crispy Kale Chips; Tomato and Cucumber Panzanella Salad; Garlic and Herb Roasted Chicken with Fresh Parsley Sauce, Cauliflower Puree and Roasted Carrots.
Skills Covered in Class Include: Understanding Seasonality; Getting Familiar with Summer Produce; Working with Dark Leafy Greens; Balancing Flavors; Selecting and Roasting Chicken; Determining Meat Doneness; Roasting Vegetables; Preparing Vegetable Puree.
Due to the layout of our kitchens and in consideration of your classmates, students will work in groups of 3 to 5 people. Parties of 6 or more will be directed to our private events department so we can accommodate them appropriately.
