French macarons take a bit of finesse to get ne sais quoi. Our expert pastry chef will guide you through every step of the technique as you learn and practice how to make three different, delicious varieties. You will go home with a box of your beautiful masterpieces!
Chocolate Macarons with Raspberry Jam; Toasted Coconut Crunch Macarons with Caramel Filling; Lemon Macarons with White Chocolate Lemon Ganache.
Skills Covered in Class Include: Basic Baking Techniques; Working with Nut Flours; Selecting Chocolate; Whipping Egg Whites; Using a Piping Bag; Caramelizing Sugar; Making Ganache.
Due to the layout of our kitchens and in consideration of your classmates, students will work in groups of 3 to 5 people. Parties of 6 or more will be directed to our private events department so we can accommodate them appropriately.
