The Chopping Block partners with River North Gym to help you get on a healthy track in the New Year! Join us on your lunch break from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for this great new 6-session series.
On day 1, meet at the Chopping Block for a 1-hour lesson on nutrition. Chef John Peters (who has lost 70 pounds in 2012 - WOW!) will discuss options for quick, easy and healthy meals and snacks.
For the following 5 sessions, we'll meet at the River North Gym on the 9th floor of the Merchandise Mart for a half-hour beginner-level workout. After your workout, Chef John will provide you with a nutrition-packed lunch and afternoon snack to refuel your body and kickstart the new you!! John will also be available to answer questions and provide you with the information you need to get off to a healthy, fit 2013. Showers and free towels are available at the gym.
